adesso Turkey has achieved another milestone by winning the first position in the “Internationally-Based Developer/Developer’s Representative” software industry category of the Top 500 IT Companies Research (IT 500) ranking. adesso Turkey's CEO and Global Director, Burak Barı, attended the award ceremony on August 9, 2023, to accept the accolade in person.
The IT 500 (Bilişim 500) initiative, the largest scale IT ranking within the Turkish landscape, meticulously evaluates and ranks pioneering IT companies based on their revenue. It looks at companies within six main categories: “Distributor”, “System Integrator and Partner”, “Internationally-Based Developer/Developer's Representative”, “Turkey-Based Manufacturer”, “IT 500 Plus”, and “Contribution to the Turkish Economy”. The results are unveiled annually at a prestigious event hosted by BThaber (BTnews), an established local weekly newspaper exclusively focused on IT technologies and the economics around it. This year's comprehensive analysis, undertaken by M2S Research Company, examined data from 2022, revealing a robust year-on-year growth.
The award ceremony witnessed the presence of top company representatives, influential figures from the IT industry, and a video message from Dr. Ömer Fatih Sayan, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure of Türkiye. Dr. Sayan's message highlighted the expanding potential of the IT sector in the country.
