The office of Saxony’s capital city is located near the baroque Old Town and in the immediate vicinity of the World Trade Center Dresden. The historic building that houses the halls of our office was built and used as Dresden’s first employment office during the Weimar Republic. Since 2023, it has been expanded and converted in accordance with adesso’s standards and plans in compliance with Saxony’s guidelines for the protection of historical buildings and monuments.

Culinary
The office’s central location offers a wide range of culinary options. The SachsenEnergie Group’s canteen is located in the adjacent building. In front of and inside the World Trade Center (WTC), you will find tons of other options for grabbing a bite to eat. You can find small restaurants that offer delicious and affordable lunches around the nearby industrial monument Kraftwerk Mitte.

In addition to the obligatory employee breakfasts, the office has a roof terrace for holding barbecues and relaxing, as well as a smaller terrace right next to the bistro. Our well-stocked drinks fridge invites you to relax after work and chat with colleagues about technology, projects and recreation.
The Dresden location also offers numerous other recreational activities for adessi. Our company runs and the dragon boat race on the Elbe are just as much part of what there is to offer as participating in the adesso Poker Series.
After work
Within walking distance of the office is Dresden’s baroque Old Town, where you can find the Zwinger, which houses the Old Masters Picture Gallery. Also nearby are the Green Vault, the Semper Opera House, the Hofkirche, the Dresden Castle and the Frauenkirche.
To the north of the Elbe stretches the Inner Neustadt and the Outer Neustadt. With their numerous bars, cafés and lounges, these districts are the central meeting point for winding down after work. The student club scene is also worth a visit. With extravagant events – also of the sporting variety – and regular bar service, a wide range of recreational and evening activities are guaranteed.

Arrival by car
From the A4, take exit 81a Dresden Hellerau and follow the B170 to the railway underpass at Dresden Neustadt station. Turn right onto Antonstrasse/B6. Follow the B6 as it transitions into Marienbrücke and then into Könneritzstrasse/B173 and then turn left onto Freiberger Strasse. After about 100 m, turn right onto Maternistrasse.
Arrival by public transport
From Dresden Neustadt station, take the ‘S-Bahn’ in the direction of the ‘Hauptbahnhof’ to the Freiberger Strasse stop. The office is located opposite the stop.
