Danish Cancer Society trusts in adesso’s lottery expertise

adesso AG announces a new international lottery-sector customer: The Danish Cancer Society (DCS) has commissioned the IT service provider with the implementation of a new lottery system. The solution will be based on in|FOCUS 360, adesso’s own platform for the direct sale of lottery products.

In future, DCS will use the new solution from adesso to manage its entire class lottery, one of the not-for-profit organisation’s leading sources of funding. DCS is dedicated to promoting cancer research, patient support and prevention in Denmark. The IT system that the organisation has used in the past is now seriously outdated and is therefore slated for replacement by a new solution.

Using in|FOCUS 360 as its basis, the specialists from adesso are developing a state-of-the-art lottery system for DCS that maps the class lottery’s product life cycle in its entirety and supports it digitally every step of the way. They are also developing a system so flexible that it can be easily expanded even further. Once the legal and organisational conditions for the sale of lottery products online and using mobile devices have been finalised, DCS will be able to launch its internet sales activities with the help of in|FOCUS 360’s online omni-channel capabilities.

One special challenge being faced by the experts from adesso is implementing the solution as part of a major xRM project. Along with the new lottery system, DCS also plans to introduce CRM and campaign management systems. As a result, the realisation of the lottery system needs to take into account both content- and time-related dependencies associated with the development of the two other systems.
