Reto Pazderka assumes management of adesso Austria

Reto Pazderka will become the new managing director of adesso’s Austrian subsidiary. The 48-year-old computer scientist is coming from CPB Software GmbH in Vienna, where he presided as CEO.

Dortmund-based IT service provider adesso has appointed Reto Pazderka (48) as the new managing director of adesso Austria GmbH in Vienna. Pazderka is taking the reins from Erwin Greiml, who has spent the last five years successfully establishing the Austrian subsidiary of adesso AG in the market.

Pazderka most recently served as CEO of the software company CPB Software GmbH in Vienna, an expert in software solutions in the fields of banking, e-business and e-government. He will be bringing years of management experience and IT expertise to his new role at adesso: “In recent years, adesso has been developing a stellar reputation amongst IT consulting companies in the German-speaking world. I find both its solutions and its consulting focuses in the field of digitalisation impressive. I am delighted that I will be able to give both companies and public administrations in Austria a better understanding of adesso’s expertise,” says Pazderka.

Dr Rüdiger Striemer is in charge of adesso’s internationalisation and subsidiaries. “Reto Pazderka’s mindset and previous experience are an excellent fit for our corporate philosophy. We firmly believe that we have recruited the right manager to master the upcoming challenges facing our Austrian subsidiary,” he says.

Pazderka will be placing emphasis on financial service providers and public administrations in the months to come, but by no means wants to rule out initiatives in other segments: “There is also a lot of demand – especially in terms of digitalisation – in many different industries in Austria. The goal we have set ourselves for the months ahead is to achieve a good mix of industries in which adesso is already operating in Austria and initiatives in new segments.”
