adesso continues to expand its industry-specific services. Alongside its regular core industries, the IT service provider is now also focusing on the manufacturing industry and life science segments in separate organisational units.
Demand for services in the manufacturing industry and life science segments has increased significantly at adesso over the past few years. The IT service provider already counts a whole host of renowned clients among its references in both segments. adesso is now acting on the increasing importance of these industries to its business development by establishing separate organisational units centred on these areas.
As an IT consulting and software development company, adesso has been advising large and medium-sized enterprises in its core industries of Insurance, Banking, Health, Public Administration and Lotteries for over 20 years. The Manufacturing Industry and Life Science core industries follow in the footsteps of the recently established Automotive & Transportation industry, in which adesso provides consulting services on the topic of digitalisation to leading carmakers in Germany.
Michael Kenfenheuer, Chairperson of the Executive Board of adesso, explains the reasons for the further industry expansion of the company: “We are seeing consistent growth in demand for efficient and smart digitalisation solutions in the manufacturing industry and life science segment. This IT specialist has developed a scalable IoT platform and is able to accompany its clients on an end-to-end basis, from conceptualisation all the way through to the operating of their own IoT applications.

The final part of adesso’s portfolio expansion is the new Data & Analytics unit. This unit will be offering services to address the increasing integration of big data platforms and data science solutions and the associated cross-technology shift currently affecting the market.
