The IT service provider adesso now has two new locations in Baden-Württemberg. The offices in Reutlingen and Vaihingen join those already located in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart, ensuring that adesso continues on its path of expansion and stays true to its aim of being as close as possible to its customers.
More than 140 people are already employed by adesso in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. In 2018 the renowned “Great Place to Work®” Institute again crowned adesso the best employer to work for in the IT industry. The two new locations in Reutlingen and Vaihingen will focus on automotive and manufacturing clients in the greater Stuttgart area, such as Daimler, Bosch and Trumpf.
adesso plans to create a “software workshop” at the new location in Reutlingen. The company will offer software experts from Neckar-Alb an attractive workplace in Reutlingen’s inner city, as well as a link to an international IT company that currently has over 30 locations worldwide.
The proximity to Reutlingen University and the university town of Tübingen promises excellent job opportunities for the highly qualified pool of new talent. Stefan Hussmann, Location Manager at the new “double location” in Stuttgart-Vaihingen, who shares responsibility for the expansion of adesso Reutlingen, sums it up as follows: “There is a strong automotive and OEM industry in and around Reutlingen, and in this era of digital transformation companies in these fields require both IT expertise and industry know-how. With adesso, they have a local partner who can provide them with both. We are already looking forward to meeting the high demand in Stuttgart and its surroundings as well as in Neckar-Alb.”
The move to the new “double location” in Stuttgart-Vaihingen was prompted by the transformation of Vaihingen, once an industrial centre, into a major business location that is already home to adesso clients such as Daimler, Allianz and Deutscher Sparkassenverlag. The service provider adesso is now joining them as it will move into office space measuring 1,600 square metres.
While proximity to customers is one benefit, the new location in south-west Stuttgart is also within easy reach of the airport and the autobahn. What’s more, Vaihingen offers both cost benefits and room for expansion, something that the enclosed geographical setting of central Stuttgart renders difficult.
