The organisation, which is supported by adesso, gives children and young people from socially disadvantaged backgrounds new prospects and values through sport. Clean Winners offers a variety of sporting activities – such as tennis, football, hockey, badminton and dance – as well as group weekend trips, homework help, workshops and more. The organisation currently helps around 350 children and young people throughout Germany at its eleven locations.
adesso employees from the IT service provider’s nationwide locations took part in the donation campaign. In 2016, they laced up their running shoes for the B2RUN Germany company run championships held in Dortmund, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Cologne, Munich, Stuttgart and Berlin, the Rügenbrückenlauf in Stralsund, and the JP Morgan Corporate Challenge in Frankfurt.
“We are delighted that adesso employees decided once again to run for the Clean Winners kids in 2016,” said Carl-Uwe Steeb, a former professional tennis player as well as a founder and director of Clean Winners e.V. “Thank you for your donation! You are helping us to develop the personalities of the Clean Winners kids through sport and joint activities, and show them prospects for a better future.”
